Samantha about Her Painful Experience
Samantha explained when the symptoms of this disease appeared in an interview.
‘In 2022, I went to the Koffee with Karan show along with Akshay Kumar. I told Karan on the show that I was very calm and cool. I wanted to focus more on my career. I felt very lethargic during that shooting itself. After completing the shooting, I came to Hyderabad. The next day, I went to shoot the movie ‘Khushi’. I faced very difficult situations there. I felt very lethargic during that shooting too. My whole body went into shutdown. From then on, my health started deteriorating. I did not know what was happening. It took a long time to identify the disease. The circumstances that happened after that are known to everyone. I am currently undergoing treatment for it. It may take some more time to recover from this,’ Samantha explained.
'yes, this happened' but it doesn't mean my life ends there. It begins where it ends. I am happy, doing good work, with incredible people, and looking forward to the next phase of my life," the actor said.
Episode of Separation with Naga Chaitanya
Samantha opened up in this interview about the separation episode with fellow actor Naga Chaitanya Akkineni. After diagnosing her diseases, some disputes erupted in their family. Then, in July 2021, Samantha removed the surname Akkineni from her social media accounts. Her action caused speculation of discord between the 'star couple'. Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation in October 2021, days before their fourth anniversary. Their divorce was finalised the following year.
At the very beginning of her career in the Telugu film industry, Samantha met Naga Chaitanya, who is an actor and the son of superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, while filming the Telugu movie 'Ye Maya Chesave' in 2010. They fell in love, started dating, and got married in Goa following Hindu rituals on 6 October 2017, then followed by Christian customs on 7 October 2017.
