Elvish Yadav, a popular YouTuber, is in trouble with the police for allegedly assaulting another YouTuber named Sagar Thakur over a rivalry on social media. The incident took place in Gurgaon, and the police have filed a case against Yadav and 10 others.

According to the police, Sagar Thakur, a 25-year-old from Delhi, was attacked by Yadav around 12:30 am on Friday. Inspector Rajender Singh from the Sector 53 police station explained that Yadav had called Thakur to Southpoint Mall on Golf Course Road to have a conversation. However, as soon as Thakur arrived at a shop owned by Yadav's acquaintance, Yadav and his group started assaulting him.

A video of the incident shows Yadav entering the room and attacking Thakur, who falls to the ground while Yadav and his friends continue to beat him. Thakur later posted another video on his social media account, claiming that he went to Gurgaon alone to meet Yadav. Still Yadav and his friends assaulted him and threatened to kill him.

In his complaint to the police, Thakur mentioned that he has been creating content since 2017 and has known Yadav since 2021. He alleged that Yadav's fan pages had been spreading hate against him, causing him distress. Thakur stated that when he went to meet Yadav, Yadav and his friends, who were intoxicated, started assaulting him and using abusive language. Thakur also claimed that Yadav attempted to injure his spine.

The FIR was registered at Sector 53 police station in Gurgaon under IPC sections 147, 149, 323, and 506.
