As Maharashtra kicked off its Assembly Elections on November 20, Bollywood celebrities were quick to make their voices heard by casting their votes. The voting process, which began at 7 AM, saw several A-list stars actively participating in the democratic process throughout the day. Among the early voters were actors Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Deepika Padukone.
One of the first to cast his vote was Akshay Kumar, who greeted the paparazzi with a cheerful "good morning" and praised the arrangements at the polling station, especially for senior citizens. Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, dressed in coordinated white outfits, arrived together to cast their votes in Mumbai. Kareena sported a white oversized kurta paired with flared denim pants, while Saif opted for a casual white t-shirt and joggers.
Ananya Panday also participated in the voting process alongside her parents, Chunky and Bhavana Pandey. The trio posed for photos outside their polling booth after casting their votes. Meanwhile, TV actor and singer Rahul Vaidya made his voting debut with wife Disha Parmar. Rahul shared that it was Disha's first time exercising her voting rights, making the moment extra special for the couple.
Ranbir Kapoor, who is known for his down-to-earth persona, arrived at his polling station in a simple yet stylish outfit consisting of a white t-shirt and green pants. He took the opportunity to encourage his fans to vote and make their voices heard, interacting with the media and posing for pictures after voting. Kartik Aaryan followed suit, flaunting his inked finger and posing with his parents at the polling booth. Dressed in a crisp white ensemble, Kartik proudly displayed his participation in the elections.
This year's elections have witnessed a wave of enthusiasm from Bollywood, with many celebrities setting an example for their fans to actively engage in the democratic process.
