"Jigra" and "Vicky Vidya Ki Woh Wali Video," two Bollywood films, were released during the Durga Puja and Navratri seasons. However, nothing was able to leave a lasting impression at the box office. Even though Alia Bhatt's "Jigra" has done well commercially, Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri's film is booming! The box office statistics indicates that since the day of Dussehra, the "Jigra" film has seen a decline in attendance.

On Saturday, Alia's film managed to earn a total of Rs 6.55 crore. The weekend is a holiday on Sunday, although it was expected that 'Jigra' might at least do good business on this day. Although the film saw a little hope on Sunday, it could not earn, but it has fallen flat. According to the box office report, 'Jigra' has done business of Rs 5.65 crore on this day. Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, the film has earned a total of Rs 16.75 crore till Sunday. This is the worst-grossing film of Alia Bhatt's film career in the first weekend. According to a report by SACNIC, Jigra earned Rs 4.55 crore on Friday, Rs 6.55 crore on Saturday, and Rs 5.65 crore on Sunday. Needless to say, the Bollywood film market is quite sluggish during the festive season.

In fact, there is no new attraction in the story of 'Jigra'. If you have seen Sanjay Dutt and Sridevi's film 'Gumrah' released in 1993, then the story goes on in that plot. But 'Jigra' is not a story to watch. Rather, it is fascinating to see Alia's great acting. Alia is amazing in every frame. It was not understood that this was his first landing in an action avatar. However, it is worth mentioning here that, although new, Alia's perfect accompaniment in this film is Vedang Raina.
