Tirupati Showcases NDA Strength at Two-Year Milestone Event

“Two Years of Trust, Development, and Welfare” is an outreach event highlighting government achievements and reaffirming the ruling alliance among TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP.

The TDP-led NDA alliance put on a strong display of unity and administrative progress at a massive public rally in Daminedu near Tirupati. The event, themed "Two Years of Trust, Development and Welfare," marked the coalition government’s completion of two years in office. It became a major platform for Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan, and state BJP leaders to present a thorough accountability report card—and they didn’t hold back from launching sharp attacks on the opposition.

"Oxygen to a Dying State" – Chandrababu

Chief Minister Naidu delivered a passionate speech, stressing that the alliance had revived Andhra Pradesh after inheriting a broken economy.

Economic Revival: CM said the coalition “gave oxygen to Andhra Pradesh, which was on a ventilator” before they took over.

Industrial Boom: He pointed out Rayalaseema’s rapid transformation into a global hub for space, drones, and defense sectors, and highlighted the major Royal Enfield plant under construction in Tirupati.

Central Backing: Chandrababu thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for 12 years of national leadership and steady support—especially for projects like Polavaram, Amaravati, and the Visakhapatnam railway zone.

Social Reforms: He promised to keep working for 33% reservation for women in legislative bodies.

Rejection of Fear and Pride – Pawan Kalyan

Jana Sena Party chief and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan zeroed in on political harmony and the people’s renewed sense of freedom.

Defeating Tyranny: Kalyan declared that the 2024 election showed people completely rejected fear, arrogance, and threats.

Coalition Strength: He credited Naidu’s strong leadership for steering Andhra Pradesh through tough times, urging all party workers to defend this collective energy for the long haul.

Targeting the Opposition: He took sharp digs at YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, saying the opposition’s presence had shrunk because of its past failures.

"Red Book" Action and "Credit Theft" – Nara Lokesh

IT and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh didn’t pull any punches, focusing on accountability.

Restoration of Law: Lokesh declared the "People's Government" had brought real freedom—ending an era of threats, violence, and chaos.

The "Red Book" Warning: He warned the government would not tolerate disruption, promising the ongoing "Red Book" initiative would keep prosecuting corrupt members of the previous regime.

Exposing the Opposition: Lokesh mocked the YSRCP leadership, claiming the "J" in Jagan’s name stood for "axe" as a reference to past violence, and joked that he suffered from "Credit Theft Disorder" for claiming credit for the government’s achievements.

Double-Engine Development – BJP Perspective

Representing the third pillar of the alliance, AP BJP State President P.V.N. Madhav and Union representatives spoke about national integration.

Transforming AP: They stressed that Modi’s vision at the Centre combined with Naidu’s leadership in the state was building a "Golden State."

Welfare Integration: They pointed to the successful merger of welfare programs like Annadata Sukhibhava with central schemes like PM-Kisan, ensuring small farmers directly benefit.

Ground Infrastructure and Political Outlook

The scale of the Tirupati meeting was unmatched, with 24 huge galleries and multiple LED screens spread over a 20-acre venue—built to host tens of thousands of beneficiaries and activists. Political analysts say this powerful show of unity squashes any talk of cracks between TDP, JSP, and BJP. By engaging directly with welfare beneficiaries in Tirupati, the alliance has built strong momentum heading into the next round of local body elections.
