Nadda Reviews Mission Telangana 2028, Urges Grassroots Push

Nadda reviewed BJP's Telangana strategy, urging grassroots focus, booth-level strength, and voter engagement ahead of 2028 elections.

Keeping the 2028 Telangana Assembly elections in sight, BJP Former National President and Union Minister JP Nadda met with top Telangana BJP leaders for a strategy session, zeroing in on the party’s organisational muscle and future campaign roadmap. State leaders, MPs, MLAs, district presidents, and key office-bearers all came together for this meeting. The agenda was clear: take stock of the party’s current standing, firm up its grassroots network, and chart out a plan to boost the BJP’s footprint across Telangana in the long run. Party sources say Nadda told leaders to step up their efforts at the booth and village level. He made it clear—leaders need to spend more time with people, listen to what matters locally, and make sure the party’s programs actually reach every household.

The meeting also went into membership drives, strengthening booth committees, reaching out to youth and women voters, sharpening social media campaigns, and prepping for upcoming local body elections. Nadda told everyone to coordinate closely and stay connected with party workers on the ground. They took a hard look at the political scene in Telangana, discussing everything from governance and unemployment to farmer issues, welfare schemes, and the corruption allegations levelled at the ruling Congress government. The party leadership sees these issues as good ground for building a stronger opposition in the state.

Nadda also urged everyone to put internal differences aside and focus on building the party. He insisted that what matters for winning elections aren’t quick-fix campaigns, but disciplined teamwork, strong booth-level management, and ongoing engagement with the public. This wasn’t just another routine review. With this meeting, the BJP signalled it’s already gearing up for election battle mode - well ahead of the 2028 polls.

The new focus: build up booth-level strength, back district leadership, and stay connected to voters all the time, not just during campaigns. The party wants to stay active in the years between elections, grow its grassroots organization, and present itself as a credible alternative in Telangana. Whether “Mission Telangana 2028” works will come down to how well the BJP turns its organizational push into real electoral gains over the next two years.
