After six days of the Dharuhera factory explosion in Haryana’s Rewari district, which injured 40 people, the death toll rose to ten on Friday. However, there have been no arrests made yet.

According to Sub-Divisional Magistrate Vikas Yadav from Rewari, there were failures and gaps in the management and ownership of the factory. However, Superintendent of Police Shashank Kumar Sawan stated that they haven't found any evidence of criminal negligence in the incident.

The committee, led by the SDM, has submitted its investigation findings to the Deputy Commissioner (DC). "The report to the DC highlighted several gaps," said the SDM. Rewari DC Rahul Hooda has requested another team to investigate the technical aspects of the case. He mentioned, "The report indicated that a short circuit caused the fire, which then spread to the dust collector, leading to the explosion." An anonymous committee member added that the factory authorities failed to clean the dust collector.

In the meantime, the police have identified the deceased as Ghanshyam, Manoj, Dinesh, Devanand, Ajay, Manjeet, Dayasankar, Pankaj, Ramu, and Rajesh. "Ten other laborers have been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment," officials stated.

The Superintendent of Police informed that two additional sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), 204 (destroying a document or electronic record) and 308 (attempts to commit culpable homicide), have been added. However, neither the owners nor the managers have been charged with criminal negligence.
