Dhanush's Raayan Box Office Collection, Day 3

Raayan grossed ₹15.61 crore on its third day, Sunday. Check out the full statistics here. The Tamil action drama starring Dhanush grossed ₹43.01 crore net during its three-day run in theaters. S J Suryah, Sundeep Kishan, Prakash Raj, Dushara Vijayan, Aparna Balamurali, Selvaraghavan, and Kalidas Jayaram star in prominent parts, with Dhanush playing the lead. According to film industry tracker Sacnilk, the action thriller movie saw a 13.53 percent jump in its collection on Sunday, indicating a considerable gain in the box office collection compared to Saturday, when it raked in ₹13.75 crore net. On its third day in theaters, the film earned ₹15.61 crores. The third-day revenue was greater than the release-day total of ₹13.65 crore net.

Sun Pictures produced the Kollywood film, which grossed ₹46.75 crore globally. The film grossed ₹31.5 crore domestically and ₹15.25 crore worldwide. According to Sacnilk, Raayan had a Tamil occupancy rate of 67.31% on Sunday. In a post on X, film trade expert Ramesh Bala wrote, "#Raayan lands in Weekend Top 10 in #NorthAmerica"The Tamil action thriller was scheduled to be published on June 13, but was postponed for unclear reasons and was eventually released on July 26. Raayan is Dhanush's 50th film in which he plays the lead and his second as director.

In addition to its original Tamil, the film was dubbed and distributed in Telugu and Hindi.The film was formally launched in 2023 with the working title 'D50', highlighting Dhanush's 50th starring role. The official title was released in February of this year. The plot revolves around a fast-food hotel owner from North Chennai and how he seeks vengeance for the deaths of his family members at the hands of a gang.
