Renowned Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is reportedly in discussions to star in a biopic on the legendary singer and actor Kishore Kumar. The film, which will be directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Bhushan Kumar, has caught Aamir’s attention due to Basu’s unique approach to the story. According to a source cited by Pinkvilla, the biopic is a project close to the hearts of both the filmmaker and producer, and they have been working to bring Kishore Kumar’s life to the big screen in a grand and impactful way.

Aamir Khan, an admirer of Kishore Kumar, has reportedly had four to five meetings with Anurag Basu to discuss the film. What intrigues Aamir most is Basu’s fresh and distinctive vision for the film, which promises to present the life of the musical legend in an innovative manner. While no official confirmation has been made regarding Aamir’s involvement, the actor is currently weighing several film offers.

The report also reveals that Aamir has six projects under consideration, including the Kishore Kumar biopic, a biopic on Ujjwal Nikam, and a comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, with scripts for all three already finalized. Other potential projects, such as Ghajini 2, a film by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and a project with Zoya Akhtar, are still in development. Aamir is expected to finalize his next film by the end of the year, with plans to commit to at least three out of these six options.

In addition to these upcoming projects, Aamir Khan is gearing up for the release of Sitaare Zameen Par, in which he stars alongside Genelia D'Souza. He is also producing Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, featuring Sunny Deol, Preity Zinta, and Shabana Azmi.
